Applications: Glycol water heaters are used in LNG re-gassification terminals.

Salient Features: Ambient Air heater/vaporizer are used for heating of low temperature fluids such as Glycol- Water Mixture, vaporizing Propylene using atmospheric air. Air Coolers, are finned/Bare tube heat transfer equipment in which the process fluid is flowing inside the tubes and the ambient air, forced over these tubes, acts as the cooling medium.

Construction: Air cooler commonly has the horizontal coil (Plug box type) with top mounted horizontal fan and vertical air flow across the air cooler bundle that pushes (forced draft) the air across the bundle.
