- Bagged export order worth Rs. 350 million
GEI Industrial Systems bagged export order worth Rs. 350 million from Solar Turbine Inc, USA
for supply of process gas coolers and Lube oil coolers for Compressor package for OMAN GAS Co., OMAN.
The package includes High pressure compressor coolers and Engine lube oil coolers.
- Air Heaters for LNG re-gasification terminal, India
This is the first of its kind for this capacity supplied for LNG terminal. The air
heaters have 112 tube bundles and equal number of fans using atmosphere air
to heat, the water-glycol mixture from 2°C to 16°C. The unique feature of this
design is moisture condensation of the fins due to air getting cooled below
saturation temperature. The fin tubes are extruded aluminium covering the outer
surface of the tubes to prevent atmospheric corrosion.
The plant location is near
the western coast of India in the state of Gujarat. The unit is commissioned in the
year 2002 and operating satisfactorily.
GEl is presently executing
additional unit of identical capacity at the same location.
- Air Cooled Vacuum Steam Condenser for captive thermal power plant, India.
The turbine exhaust steam is condensed in "A" frame Air Cooled Condenser with
FRP axial flow fan forcing the air across the finned bundles. This is for a ferro alloy
steel plant and the atmosphere is very dusty.
The fins are overlapping type, which completely protect the outer tubes surface.
GEl makes water jet fin cleaning system is installed for keeping the fin surface
clean. This system has an array of nozzles making the cleaning more effective.
The fin cleaning system is easy to operate and faster to clean. The LL fin
construction even protects the base tube from the water used for cleaning.
- Cooling Water Modules with frame EA Gas Turbine, Brazil
Cooling water module comprising of complete package having cooling elements,
circulating water pumps, expansion tank, piping valves, instrumentation and local
electrical control panel for pressure, temperature, vibration and level control
intended for a stand alone operation of the system.
- Composite style gas coolers, Tunisia
Composite gas cooler consists of interstage cooler and after cooler combined
into a single unit having axial flow fan mounted on single shaft assembly drives
by the engine driving the compressor.
These coolers are used for gas pipeline for
boosting pressure and on-shore gas processing fields.
