| Fabrication :- |

| There are two manufacturing facilities. One of the facilities is in Govindpura spread over 8 acres where manufacturing of headers, fin tubes, bundle assembly and testing is done. |
 |
| The workshop in Govindpura is ASME “U” stamp shop consisting of advance welding facilities stress releasing furnace and radiography strong room. |
 |
| Leak test facilities include hydraulic pneumatic and helium leakage tests. |
 |
| New facility set up in Mandideep about 25 kilometers from the existing workshop is spread over a vast area of 30 Acres having five large work shop bays each of size 35m wide x 175 m long for carrying out fabrication of large fabricated assemblies of Air cooled heat Exchanger and Air cooled vacuum steam condensers and facility for shop run test. This facility is dedicated to do Balance of Plant equipment of Thermal Power Plants. |

| GEI works in Mandideep is equipped with CNC frame cutting machine and plate rolling machines which can roll upto 45 mm thick plates and plate bending for side frames. |

| Machining :- |
 |
| Fabricated headers and tube sheets of the air-cooled exchangers and condensers are finished at the machine shop equipped with various machine like drilling machines, a plano-miller, lathe machines and CNC horizontal boring machine, BTA type deep hole drilling machine. |
 |
| In addition to above horizontal boring machine is employed for drilling of circular tube sheets. |

| Finning :- |
 |
| The finning shop has the widest range of aluminum finning machines which produce 9000 km of different configuration of aluminum finned tubes every year. These includes soldered fins, embedded fins, tension wound fins and extruded bi-metallic fin. |

| Shop Assembly & Testing :- |
 |
| GEI Industrial Systems assembly shop is equipped to turn out about 5000 tube bundles along with associated structures, plenum for motor drives and accessories per year. |

| GEI has installed capacity of fabrication of equipment is 50,000 MT and Inhouse NDT facility like Radiography, ultrasonic, Magnetic partied, hydrotesting upto 600 bar, pneumatic testing, header leak, testing, PMI etc. |

| Non Destructive Testing :- |
 |
| GEI is equipped with in house NDT facilities like Dye Penetrate (DP) test, Radiography (X-ray), Ultrasonic (UT), Magnetic Particle Impregnation (MPI) and PMI (positive material identification) testing. |
| |
| Sub Contracting :- |
 |
| Usually hot dip galvanizing and some of the fabrication works are sub contracted to qualified and GEI approved subcontractors. |
