GEI started supplying cooling modules and air cooled radiators since 1985. Beginning with Air Cooled Oil Coolers also known as Unit Coolers or OFAF coolers for power transformers, GEI ventured into large Air cooled water coolers for gas turbines in the year 1989 and later on introduced Radiator for gas/diesel engines in the year 1992. |

Till date GEI has supplied more than 500 OFAF coolers majority of them for National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) projects. |
|
GEI has supplied more than 50 nos. cooling water modules and air blast oil coolers for frame 3, 5, 6, 7 & 9 of General Electric Design gas turbine and for V 94.2 of Siemens design gas turbine being manufactured by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited in India. |
|
GEI has exported cooling water module and air blast oil cooler to General Electric Company directly for power projects in the US, Brazil and Europe. |

The packaged cooling water module consists of forced/ induced draft fans with cooling water tube bundles, circulating water pumps interconnecting piping, gate/ globe/ non return valves for isolation/ control/standby operation, field instrumentation for water level/ temperature/ vibration control and philosophy for standby operation of pumps/ fans. The package also include expansion tank and electricals upto field Junction Box / MCC/ Local Control Panel. |
